Winter Whites

Sweater, leg warmer - malik / boots - baluchas / ring - westside / necklace - applow tower / beanie - max

Ola Peeps,

It might be the last month but it always brings out the most. As it is the season of holidays and endless parting. So it becomes mandatory to pile up all the festive things-may it be gifts or cards or cloths (new ones).

Keeping in mind the vibes of Christmas, I feel that one should always have something red whether a sweater or a coat. Because red never needs any styling as it is complete in itself..

Likewise I styled a basic red sweater minimally so than the color does not get over saturated! Also I added a hint of white to the whole look. To overcast red I added a white beanie, ring and spiked clutch.

White-red combination is absolutely fit for the moment as red gives the festive feeling and white indicates winter! Adding white was an alternative as the combination of red with green almost gives a feeling of a Christmas tree. (Haha) J

So let’s keep it festive until New Year!

Happy holidays!

Pamper Evenings

Sweet Lemon Beautifying Oil
Strawberry Shower Gel / Body Polish

Strawberry Body Mist / Body Butter / Lip Balm

Brazil Nut Shower Cream
Shea Body Whip
Brazil Nut Body Butter

Hello Beautiful,

I have been a lot busy lately as my semester ended this month so I was caught up in assignments, lectures and what not. And how can I forget my finals! It took almost one and a half month to finish, which pretty much resulted in no more outings and just studies!
As I was at home for the most of the day so I had my pamper evenings quite frequently. I am a blind follower as it completely relaxes the mind and rejuvenates the body!

Basically it means pampering yourself (not with chocolates or presents but by taking special care).
I mean everybody needs a little 'me' time. Right!
Simple steps can really change the mood by showing some love for your body.
For some weird reason I like my products to be of the same company. That makes me buy products from Body Shop. I like it too much as they have a complete range of skin, hair and body products

Oiling – I get myself a good head and body massage for at least 40 minutes as it helps in the proper circulation of blood. Mostly I use body shop oil (as it is less greasy and gets absorbed easily), but it’s almost winters so I have switched to olive oil. Usually I take a nap after massage.

Exfoliating – I use strawberry scrub on my body to remove the oil. Using a body scrub weekly will result in soft skin as it removes all the dead cells and open the pores of body. It is not necessary to use some high off scrub. You can mix brown sugar with olive oil and honey. It will do the exact same job.

Then I use shower gel to cleanse my body. After cleaning it is very important to properly moisturize the whole body. For this I use body butter.
In winters I usually switch to ‘Brazil Nut Shower cream’ and ‘Shea body butter’ as it is thicker than the strawberry range.
At last my strawberry mist and lip balm does not hurt either.

After going through the pamper process I am totally relaxed plus it also leaves me with a Cinderella feeling. ;)

NOTE- I am not suggesting these products to you. You can buy anything that suit your skin type. I am only mentioning these as they work for me.

Till then be gorgeous,
XOXO

A Gift to Oneself

Back to my birthday week you might have seen a picture on my instagram account of my birthday haul. And by that it was easy to make out that I have been into shopping online lately. So I thought of sharing all my love for online retail therapy with you all.

Tee & Skirt - FabAlly / Heels - Forever 21

Shopping online has made our life a bit easier as we can shop at any time and from anywhere (unless we have an Internet connection)

Personally I feel online shopping is a bit more time taking as they have so many options available may it be color or design, which makes me stick with so many options to choose from. Trust me sometime it becomes so difficult for me to choose that I end up asking all my friends and family! But I'm more than willing to overlook these things as long as I am ultimately getting what I want.

I am not a big fan of all the leading brands online which maintains
almost everything rather I always look for something new which
we don’t get to buy in our city.

So now that I've spoken enough about retail therapy, let’s have a look at my favorite sites

This brand has been in every girl’s dream and somewhere in your
head you might have wanted to buy the whole shop. I mean I
always have!(guilty as charged)

Well as we don’t live in a fairy tale but still forever 21 is playing the part of a fairy godmother as it has an official Indian website. Seriously this was the greatest thing I ever came across. I literally ordered everything I wanted. Thought it took a long time to get delivered but at the end it was forever 21, and I was truly touched with the quality and design. I ordered a hell lot of things as they give free delivery to orders over Rs.2500 (thought it eventually exceeded)

Well I am in love with this brand, as they sell almost everything.
Moreover one of the best part of this site is that, they give 50% off on your first purchase from their App. I mean what more could we ask for!

As always I ordered as much as I wanted, it had everything from
shoes to rings, dresses till perfumes. I literally took it for granted  and it equally served my heart
One more thing, they sell Victoria secret’s mist. Even I had
thoughts at the beginning, but when it arrived I was happy about it as the quality and the fragrance was amazing. I ordered iced cranberry with white jasmine and it was mind blowing.

Snob shop –
I am a personal fan of snob shop as the stuff is so chick that I feel
like buying all the things at once. I ordered some stuff a while back,
and I loved the quality as it came with fair prices. They are soon going to launch a website with new collection, which is making me impatient as I am eagerly waiting.

Their collection is wide and it will surely serve you for any occasion. I am totally taken over this dress which I am wearing above.

MADISH and Prettylicious world are some more online sites from which I recently ordered and I was pretty much satisfied with the products.

Once you sign up for these sites, they pretty much keep you updated for the amazing offers they provide.

Until the next post,
xoxo

Crown of twigs

This autumn shall not be just an affair of late mornings, evenings growing darker or leaves turning completely yellow instead It should be a chance for our soul to change itself around!

Ear Cuff - StyleDotMe Exhibition / Sweater - Ginger, Lifestyle(Chandigarh) / camisole - Apollo Tower / Leather Leggings - The Snob Shop / Footwear - Hill Road(Mumbai) / Bag - Madame / Rings - Forever21 & Mango /  On My Lips - Mac Lady Danger / On My Nails - Revlon Stormy

I know I am late in posting this fall edition, but I guess it’s better to be late than never!

Personally I am a huge fan of autumn as I feel that it’s the perfect season for anything and everything. Bright mornings with windy afternoons and chilly evenings sound just perfect to me as I cannot tolerate too much of heat or cold.
Well in this fall edition post I am talking about layering. I mean layering is the best way to keep things stylish this season. But this outfit is not exactly a form of layering as I wore this dress to a gig which I recently attended. So I focused on getting a punk look by using studs and different tones of black. I will surely do a post which mainly focuses on layering in near future.

Currently I am obsessed with studs especially of golden color. Whatever has studs on it has to be mine as they are in trend. (Do let me know if you find anything with studs on it)
For this look I paired my favorite leather legging with a black camisole and covered it with a black studded sweater. Thought they all were black but still mixing different materials altogether gave it a different feel. The ear cuff added the exact amount of edge which my outfit needed.

At last coming to my bag!
Well what I can say about this bag is that – it is the best thing which ever happened to me, as it goes with every outfit I wear no matter if it’s causal or party wear. Anyways I am blessed to have it in my life. But I also wonder, if I could have a bigger size too.
Trust me this little gem (studded bag) is a perfect staple for all occasions.

So this pretty much wraps up my post for now!

Until the next post,
XoXo

Tales of 21!

Pink Maxi - Chemistry / Necklace - street side shop / Bracelet & Earrings - Tribal Zone / Ring - Exhibition / Footwear - Bombay Boot House / Lipshade - Maybelline POW2

Life is never a happy track, instead it’s a roller-coaster ride, which would take you through every ups and downs no matter whatever you expect. So mine is no exception.

This week (I mean the birthday week) has been a very hooch-pooch kind of time for me as many things happened at a time which I really didn’t expect. Some low moments, some happy moments all together it was a satisfactory ending as it left me with so much to learn.
One thing that I have learned is no matter whatever happens you end up at the right place, exactly where you belong leaving all that behind which you don’t deserve. *sigh*

I think I am blabbering way to much but I guess everything is fair when it’s your birthday! Right? (Hahhaa)

Now officially coming to what this post is meant for.
I am not a last minute shopper or an occasion shopper (one who specifically shop for particular occasions), rather I am a regular shopper. I just keep on shopping constantly without thinking what to wear when. All I do is last minute mix and match (from my wardrobe) before any particular event. So my birthday was no exception.

Actually I had another dress decided for the same but as the place was decided at the last moment so I had to change the color of my dress as I didn't wanted to match with the ambiance.
I decided to wear this beautiful pink maxi dress because without a doubt everything is flawless for a girl in pink!!
As it was plain pink in color so I thought of breaking the color theme by adding some more colors to it. So for the same I kept on wearing and removing this short white shrug which made my dress a bit more edgy. A multicolored neck piece, matching bracelet with a statement ring enhanced my single colored dress and made it appropriate for the birthday girl theme.

I am so in love with this plain maxi that I might wear it again with some other color theme. Trust me statement clothes are like magic, you cast a spell - and woooffff your dress is new all over again. I might even post in near future showing the different way to style this maxi.

Now coming to the next important thing for a birthday which is the cake and the place for party! As I recently switched all my cosmetics to Mac, so it was a very cute pink colored round cake with Mac cosmetics on it! It even had a surprise which was a beautiful tiny ‘Forever21’ purse. Accidentally, the color of the cake and my dress matched, which turned out to be a pretty thing.
The place was perfect to my need. I always prefer a garden party over a disc one so that we can actually have fun while talking, eating and celebrating.

At last everything comes to an end, so did my birthday, but the most important thing is to end up right. This time I did with my 21.
Also cheers to more!

Special thanks to Harshad for Picture Editing, Akul for Text Editing and Cheryl for suggesting me a cute line!

Till the next post,
XOXO

Not So Traditional!

Mirrored Top - Max / Maxi Skirt - Zara / Footwear - Westside / Waistbelt - Vaishali(kothari market) / Ring - Clips&more / Handcuff - Apollo Tower

A very glitteriest hello to all.

What  I  see at this moment is lights, glitter and gold shine as it’s diwali.
This festival literally allows me  to stuff whatever I want, and still I don’t feel cheated! ;)

Also this is the festival of lights so what more reason do I need to pamper my love for candles, specially the scented ones which I can adore round the year.

Another great thing about Diwali is the ‘dressing up’ and ‘social get-together’ part. I mean who does not like to dress-up fancy plus to have a great time. Right?

Now finally coming back to my post i.e. an outfit for the festival.
Usually during Diwali every one prefers to wear  suits, saris or some type of  lengha  with bold jwellery. Trust me I am not a huge fan of Indian wear  until and unless there is a wedding in the house. So I thought of styling my dress in some form of western wear which would still go for the Diwali theme.

As I am a huge fan to maxi skirts so I thought of using it with a yellow mirrored top along with a stone waist belt, which perfectly fulfilled my need for the moment by making it a bit more fancy than the usual look. I accessorized it with a ring and a sliver hand cuff and then I was good to go.

This was not my Diwali dress but a day subsequent to it where I had to attend a lunch with the family. So in short I loved my dress for the occasion, hope you too like it do let me know by commenting below.

Till my next post,
xoxo

Stylish Soirée

Green Tee - Globus / Maxi Skirt - Zara / Heart Shades - Aldo / Peeptoes - Shoes / Mindi rings - The Snob Shop & Mango /  Sling Bag - AG's (Bhopal)

Finally October is here.

It is the most awaited month to me as it brings so many birthdays, parties, festivals and holidays.

Also it offers various weather conditions simultaneously. We have already gone through rains, summer and what awaits this fall is cold breezy wind.

We are still occupied with the harsh sunlight – which does not look like shine to me anymore so I am sticking to my summer clothing i.e. maxi skirts.

Recently I went to a soirée with my girlies which we do religiously every time when we all are in town. As the evening was neither too hot nor too cold so I wore a maxi skirt and clubbed it with a plain green tee and added a tan belt to spice up the casual look. The green bag and tan peep toes were just the perfect match to my look for a fun and stylish day out with girls.

There is one advantage when you go out with girls is that you can always dress a little more than usual and still have all the girlie fun you want.

To top it up I used my heart shaped sunglasses which I absolutely love.  It was seriously the main highlight of the look!!

Till my next post ,
XoXo
