Hey there!

As my title suggests it is obvious that today I will be talking about the much hyped color-Marsala. It is basically a natural robust or an earthy wine red.

Pantone announced Marsala as the color of the year for 2015. Radiant Orchid was the color for 2014. Every year Pantone color institute declares a color which influences the industry. “Marsala enriches our mind, body and soul, exuding confidence and stability.  This hearty, yet stylish tone is universally appealing and translates easily to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors.”

This color appropriately fits in apparels, accessories, beauty and for interiors as well. But as I am a fashion blogger, so I clubbed this color for my dress and face. To achieve a full Marsala look I used a dark reddish brown eye shadow and an oxblood lipstick for my face. As these two colors are a family to Marsala so they readily matched my outfit.

Now there is a little history with this dress, when I first saw this last year I knew I had to own this because of two reasons. Firstly I am a serious sucker for plain dresses (as one can style them in many ways) and secondly the color was a bit different from the ordinary (thought I was a bit confused with the color) but somehow I ended up buying this little piece and accidentally it has become the color of the year! J  (So I am kind of very happy). At last I am quite happy with my look by synchronizing single color overall.

Also I am in love with Marsala and I am more than willing to buy more stuff of the same color in near future. But for now I am providing links of some online sites from which you can buy Marsala stuff.

Ola !!

I hope all of you are ready with chocolates, flowers and gifts for your loved ones as valentine’s day is around the corner. I am not talking about your partner explicitly! But also about the people for whom you care, after all you can also share this day of love with your friends and family!

It is always fun to dress up for some occasion, specially for those days when you can feel something magical in the air. As the weather is almost perfect at this time of the year so I choose to wear a thin sweater. And yes it is white. Firstly I have a crazy-thing for white and secondly I consider white for peace and happiness!   

Although the color of my sweater does not indicate love but the design truly indicates the feeling for valentine’s, so I saved this one for the upcoming week. As the design (love potion) was the only attractive thing in the sweater, a leather faux legging added texture to my look. Boots were the only thing which completed my look for days like these! 

At last a pretty hair-do was just the thing which I needed for this season of love.
