I know I have been MIA since New Year’s! Apologies for that.

I wanted to post something towards the end of December but somehow it got delayed. Also it has been quite some time since many of my friends has been asking outfit inspiration for guys. So viola I came up with this post “His & Hers”, where I clubbed my New Year’s dress with the most staple piece for boys.

I am not an expert on styling ‘his’ outfits. I have tried my best so that this might help you in any possible way. It is difficult to define or suggest a particular outfit as every guy has a different physique or body shape, that makes every guy’s outfit different from one another.

But not to panic as I have thought of doing a post on staple pieces which are a necessity for every guy’s wardrobe. So in today’s post I will be talking about ‘LEATHER JACKET’.

Its perfect for the season and its a girl-boy thing.

Trust me over this – buying a leather jacket would suddenly improve your life! :p (jokes apart)

For Her – Now coming over to my dress. One line suits here, i.e. you are most likely to find a thing when you are least looking for it. I had no intentions of buying a leather jacket when I was at Forever 21 (Mumbai). In fact I was kind of bored as it was my second visit within a week (actually I was suffering from beautiful-cloths-all-around-panic-attack). It was so random that I was walking towards the changing room and I saw the leather jacket lying over the table and it accidentally was of my size. I had fallen for this jacket at the first trial. Neither it had any collar nor the ruff look, just a sleek chain at the bottom which was exactly my type. 

Also according to my theory everyone gets a leather jacket in their lifetime which exactly suits their need. {if you don’t own then don’t worry someday accidentally you will be blessed with its grace}

Now coming to my outfit, I wore this dress on New Year’s Eve so I clubbed my favorite skater skirt with the jacket, as one can never go wrong with white. My dress had the flow of black and white so without breaking the theme I accessorized with a sliver necklace and some rings! The boots were just the edge what my look needed. As my boots were of ankle length so I added black socks to complete the look.

For Him – leather jacket goes with almost everything, whether you club it with shirts or t-shirts or even with kurtas. In short it’s an all round fit! The look has been kept simple which makes it versatile. A little pop of color on the white tee-shirt make it look attractive. A good straight fit jeans with black sneakers completes the look.
